Georganne, the founder of Mama’s Play, approached us with a vision for a bespoke play area that would serve as the centerpiece of her unique play café—designed with both children and their mothers in mind. The play structure needed to support the development of gross motor skills for children aged 0-6, with a strong emphasis on climbing and sliding.

For the aesthetic, we were tasked with creating a magical, "over-the-rainbow" dreamscape. It was equally important that the structure complemented the café’s bold interior and aligned seamlessly with the Mama’s Play brand.

To bring this vision to life, we colour-matched the main frame and soft play elements to the client’s brand colours, ensuring a stunning and cohesive finish. The design featured an exciting mix of elements, including a straight and spiral slide, squeeze-through rollers, an enclosed trampette, an infinity mirror, and a light tube—along with plenty of climbing routes to encourage active play.

To enhance the whimsical atmosphere, we applied frosted graphics to the polycarbonate panels, creating an ethereal "up-in-the-clouds" effect while maintaining visibility. Additional enchanting details, such as a 3D disc tree and a cloud-shaped low wall enclosing the area, completed the dreamy aesthetic.
