Eve, the founder of Playful Pines Park, approached us with the idea of creating a play space that captures the essence of a misty morning in a pine forest and the adventure of hiking through the trees. We brought this vision to life with an indoor forest where children can explore and climb into treehouse lookouts— resulting in a play cafe we believe perfectly reflects her vision.
High visibility was key in this design, so we incorporated lots of netted panels and perspex windows. Playful Pines Park is also home to Tigerplay’s first interactive tree installation, where kids can make the leaves fall from the branches overhead.
Other features include perspex and timber domed tree houses, netted floors to encourage a sense of adventure and balance, a spiral slide, stepping stones across a waterfall backdrop and a selection of interactive and sensory lighting elements.
