We recently installed this sea-themed play area at Silverburn Shopping Centre in Glasgow, Scotland. The standalone play area features a crawl-through submarine, whale hump slide and activity panels on the walls, offering little ones plenty of places to play and explore.

The focal point of this design is the yellow submarine structure with a padded interior. Once inside the vessel, underwater sounds can be heard playing creating an immersive play experience.

We opted for digitally printed artificial turf for the flooring, which really added to the underwater theme. The flooring is also incredibly hardwearing and the shock pad underlay means it offers a cushioned surface for children jumping and bouncing around the area. There is also bespoke artwork on the wall surround, made from timber and glass. The artwork on the glass is transparent so that nearby parents have a good view into the play area.
