Miss Daisy's Nursery - Belgravia, London UK

Our latest installation for House of Kin took us to Belgravia, London for the refurb of Miss Daisy’s Nursery. The main play area was inspired by traditional pottery kilns, clad with individually stitched fabric tiles creating a warm feel.

The ground floor of the play structure houses some traditional soft play features and a climb up to a wavy slide. There’s a hidden sensory zone at the back with an integrated light tube. The first floor offers space for free play and learning, with some bespoke activity panels. The kilns have a network of climbing scramble nets meaning there are multiple ways to access the different areas, providing a challenging way up through the structure.

We also made an egg chair and pebbles for a 3D Immersive reading area. The hand-upholstered pebbles with varying fabrics for different textures add depth and intrigue to the space.
