Basset Bear House

This latest installation was designed by House of Kin for for Basset House School’s early years building; then turned into a working design and bought to life by ourselves. The first area puts a contemporary twist on a bear’s cave with layered panels of differently textured materials forming the cave, which houses a soft play obstacle run on the top level and traversing trail on the ground floor.

Room 2 transports the nurseries pupils to a modern enchanted woodland where cork clad modules create a network of play including a sensory corner, authentic log pile climber and rope bridge encased with oversized woodland leaves.
