Packed with innovative features and bespoke creations, this project really pushed us in terms of what’s possible in a space - every aspect of the area has an element of fun and interactivity in it. Many of the features are also unique and one-off, including the playhouse with Lego interiors, the handcrafted sailing boat and the ball pond with bespoke ‘under the sea’ artwork, so residents can enjoy an unrivalled play experience. Our play space is a stand out feature of The Bryanston, Hyde Park’s amenities, developed by Almacantar.

We wanted to create a magical world for children where they are inspired to touch and feel, explore and wonder – avoiding the tendency to rely on digital for interactivity. Working with specialists Tigerplay, the design engages imaginations and enhances learning outside of school. The materials encourage tacticity, the equipment and games promote collaboration and fun and ultimately, we have created a space where children can be children.”
