Celebrating 20 Years of Inspiring Indoor Play

As we celebrate 20 years of designing, manufacturing and installing inspiring indoor play spaces; our Managing Director, Gary Morrison, has reflected on the past 20 years and looks ahead to the future.

“20 years, a generation and a journey that’s taken Tigerplay around the world from the Shetland Islands to Sydney and established us as a brand recognised for an original, professional, educated approach. 

Our designs are commissioned by individuals, professionals and institutions for play spaces, environments, and bespoke products to provide practical solutions to creating stimulation, inspiring places for children to be. 

And so, to the next 20 years, which is already very much in focus. We’re particularly aware of our environmental impact, so we’ve taken action to investigate alternatives to all the resources we use in our business. Natural fibres not plastics, renewable energy to fuel our two production sites, investing in woodland as we continue to use timber at the core of our production. 

We envisage that the impact of this change in the materiality of our work will continue to drive our view of the nature of play design, interior spaces, and the scope of what’s possible.

We as ever, though, look forward every day to the challenge of creating the most dynamic spaces for the most demanding of children.”
